I think should be able to go vai without losing kido because Hachigen used pretty much used only kido with vaizard mask. but to balance things if a kido shini went vai then the power of the kidos should be lowered by a small percent.

Vaizards get a 2x Boost in Vasto Form(1.5x for normal)
Ruthless, where yur invincible for 10 seconds every 30 seconds.
Screech, where yu slow down most people for 20 seconds.
I'd say thats pretty worth it for loosing kido.
