so i was thinking u could add more to the story by making Arcs. Each arc should have atleast 7 chapters and at the end of each arc u fight a boss character that drops a boss item like the first arc with Aizen. There should be atleast 5 arcs in total(u could have more thou the more the better). this would make the game more interesting and encourage people to lvl up because if the boss item is anything like the hyougyoku then people will want it. Second i know you dont have all day to sit around and think about things you could add to the story to make it better so i suggest that you make a story group, they will be people u select to make up the story for the game. If u do decide to make a story group i vote for Rioshima to be the head of it seeing as he already created the first two arcs of the story and that he has a vivid imagination.
Note:The last boss of the last arc should be insanely hard to beat way harder than aizen in the first arc making the last drop very rare to get.
